High Expectations Teachers at Rocketship have a goal of 1.5 years of academic progress each year for every student.
Specialists in Literacy and Math. Rocketship senior teachers teach Literacy (Reading and Writing) or Math all day long. This allows them to build a deep understandings of their subject area and a broader experience with student learning issues in their subject.
We care! Every student will have both a homeroom teacher and a grade-level teacher who look after both their emotional health as well as their academic success.
Extended Day Rocketship has a longer school day than most traditional elementary schools, which means that our Rocketeers have more time in the classroom to learn. There are many activities throughout the day, but students and teachers understand that hard work and long days will pay off.
